Morning!
Has anybody taken up the Source4Style University membership offer?
According to their information:
As part of the university membership, students and faculty can:
- purchase swatches at 50% off ($2/swatch)
- order sampling yardage directly from local suppliers with low minimums
- store swatches in their own virtual swatch book
- participate in monthly webinars & receive seasonal trends reports
- receive weekly emails revealing new suppliers & textiles
I’d be interested to know what you think of it.
Since our library is not involved in fabric swatches & materials databases, i forwarded the link to those in charge of such matters within our school. So: thanks for this post!
i already had some feedback, indicating the intention to investigate the possibilities of Source4Style. In case i get wind of their findings i will let you know.
Best regards,

Hello,
The Fashion Institute of Technology has trial access to Source4Style. The ability to purchase swatches is a big plus for students, and our other databases do not provide this service. I’m happy to provide feedback once our trial ends after the spring semester.
