Blog status settings & permissions

Greetings to all FTC SIG members!

Your FTC SIG blog status was recently upgraded to “author.”  (Your original blog status was “contributor,” which was the WordPress default status setting.)

I felt that the “contributor” status was too limiting, so I’ve changed the default settings.  Now, anyone who was not already an “administrator” is an “author.”  An author can edit, publish and delete their posts, as well as upload files/images.

I hope this will encourage you to post to the blog.

Don’t know what to write?  Share updates on work or research you’re doing, impressive new resources you’ve purchased, or information competency exercises for fashion students that have been successful.  If you hear about a museum exhibition in the FTC area, please post a link so we all know about it.

We can all benefit from our mutual knowledge and experiences!
