Urgent Request: Article from Vogue Paris

Can anyone help our colleague, Maggie McClellan, from the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts? (See below)

*******
Hello, Colleagues,

I am in need of a scan of the following article:

Henri Bidou, “La parure feminine a l’exposition,” Vogue Paris, Aug. 1, 1925, pp. 29-44.

If anyone has a copy of this they can send to me, I would be forever grateful! I am not seeing anything on WorldCat indicating anyone has this going back to 1925, but I figured the ARLIS-L might be worth a shot.

Thanks,

Maggie McClellan

  1. Hi Maggie,

We don’t have copies of Paris Vogue going back that far at Central Saint Martins but our colleagues at the London College of Fashion do. From our OPAC holdings I can see that they do have August 1925, however they’re undergoing a refurbishment at the moment and are closed until 23rd September. If you can wait until that date you may well be able to get a photocopy from them. Contact details etc: http://arts.ac.libguides.com/hours

    Hope that helps!

    Alex
