WGSN Interface Changes & III Tech Issues

Greetings, Colleagues!

We at Pima Community College Library are subscribers to WGSN, a trend forecasting database.  WGSN has recently made changes to their interface.  While we had no issues with the previous interface and are currently able to access the site through the WAM proxy, some of the WGSN functions are no longer working for us. Users are getting error messages, particularly when trying to create image folders.

After facilitating several rounds of troubleshooting between WGSN and III, WGSN seems to believe that the problem is that III doesn’t fully support HTTP PUT and DELETE method for RESTful API.  On the other side of things, III is saying that all they can do at this point is submit this as an enhancement request.

I was wondering if any other WGSN subscribers were having this problem and if you were able to fix it.  I’ll appreciate any advice you or your tech gurus can provide!

Thanks very much!

  1. Hi Sandra

I’ve not heard of any of these problems here. Will investigate and let you know if there are any.
