VERY IMPORTANT: Short Bloomsbury Survey for FTC Librarians

Hi everyone!  Kevin Ohe, Academic U.S. Publishing Director for Bloomsbury (Berg Fashion Library, Fashion Theory, Fairchild Books, AVA Publications, etc.), has asked me to post a message and survey link, which follows below.  Please complete the short (11 questions) survey which touches on a very important issue for all fashion, textile & costume librarians.  Thank you very much!

Hello,

Over the past couple of years Bloomsbury has brought together a number of imprints that publish titles in fashion: Berg, publisher of the Berg Fashion Library and Fashion Theory, among others; Fairchild Books, the leading fashion textbook publisher; and AVA Publications, a publisher of highly innovative, highly visual books on fashion and related topics. We publish textbooks, journals, reference, monographs, and general interest titles.  We’re considering bringing all of our content together onto a single platform which could open interesting product opportunities, and I’d be very interested in your thoughts on the matter.

We’ve created a survey, if you’re interested: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/6GW3T7T

If you’re headed to Philadelphia for ALA Midwinter and would like to chat about this in person, please let me know.

Thanks so much for your consideration.

Kevin Ohe, Academic US Publishing Director
