Feedback Needed for FTC @ ARLIS/NA in Seattle 2016

This year’s ARLIS/NA conference in Fort Worth was great, but there were no sessions or tours related to fashion, costume and textile topics. Want that to be different in Seattle in 2016? Let the conference planning committee know! Take a few minutes to fill out the post conference survey found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FortWorthEvaluation. It has two parts, Part A on Fort Worth, Part B on Seattle – if you couldn’t make it to the conference this year you can just do Part B. The last day to complete the survey will be Sunday, April 26, 2015.

Also, feel free to share your suggestions in comments on this post, so we can have some dialogue on what you hope to see/learn in Seattle next year!

  1. Hi all,

I completed my survey and I think the Seattle trip suggestions that were listed look great. However, I thought I would post some suggestions on the blog as well that relate specifically to the FTC SIG.

    – Mario’s Department Store – 2014 MR named it one of the 10 most influential stores in America
    – Nordstrom flagship store – 500 Pine Street, Seattle, WA 98101
    – House of Fashion – fashion incubator that also has a retail store http://seattleldi.blogspot.com/ (perhaps we can make an appointment to have a tour of the work space and then visit the store afterwards.)
    – Seattle Fashion Incubator – http://seattlefashionincubator.org/ (perhaps we can make an appointment to have a tour of the work space.)
    – Seattle Art Museum
    – EMP (Experience Music Project) Museum
    – Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture
    – Museum of Glass
    – Frye Art Museum

    Have a great afternoon!

    Nicole
