Those of you who were at the ARLIS Fashion, Textile & Costume SIG meeting in Ft. Worth may recall that I mentioned ProQuest would soon have some exciting news to share.
I’m pleased to let you know that ProQuest just announced our plans to digitize the entire run of Harper’s Bazaar, from its first issue in 1867 to the present. As you know, projects of this scale take time; we are already underway and eager to add this to our suite of periodical archives in the fashion/design/material culture/women’s studies spaces.
The Harper’s Bazaar Archive will be on the ProQuest platform, and will be cross-searchable with Vogue, WWD, and our Historical Periodicals.
Thank you, and I hope you’re as excited to hear this news as I am to share it. Please let me know if you have any questions at all.
With best regards,
