Talk tonight 5/24/17 at the Denver Art Museum

If you’re in Denver, check out the Logan Lecture on the Intersection of Art/Design/Fashion tonight after viewing the exhibition Shock Wave: Japanese Fashion Design, 1980s-90s.  If you’re not able to make it, there is a 70-page exhibition catalog available for purchase through the museum bookstore, and there are videos on the exhibition on DAM’s Youtube page.

Join Denver Art Museum curator of modern and contemporary art Rebecca Hart; curator of architecture, design and graphics Darrin Alfred; and Avenir Foundation Curator of Textile Art and Curator of Fashion Florence Müller, for a dialogue highlighting the convergence of art, design, and fashion.  The boundaries of each are tempted as new media challenge one another and collaborations expand or self-reflect.
